Self-Care & Self-Healing Tips
In General and Particularly for COVID 19

Three Major Goals of  implementing Self-Care & Self-Healing Tips into your life:
  • Boosting your immunity
  • Balancing your mind and body
  • Minimizing going to Hospital to avoid getting infected

Self-care and Self-healing tips for prevention from getting COVID 19 or to accelerate healing from COVID 19 in addition to following the CDC Guidelines and your governor's orders:
  1. Eat all food well cooked
  2. Drink boiled water which has been cooled down to luke warm or at drink room temperature water or fluids
  3. Avoid drinking any drinks with added ice cubes
  4. Avoid drinking any drinks that are colder than your body temperature
  5. Avoid eating cold salads and raw foods
  6. Drink ginger or Cardamom tea
  7. Soak 5-7 raisins (white or brown) in hot water, let cool and eat daily
  8. Eat more cooked vegetables
  9. Cook with garlic or onions
  10. Think positively and try to stay optimistic!
  11. Drink goat milk - heat it up, then drink ¼ cup twice daily at dawn and dusk, around 7am and 8pm.
  12. Apply warm oil to the chest, under the clavicle, and upper back (warm the oil between the palms and then rub the palms there)

Although our current situation is serious, we are more fortunate than many other parts of the world. Improve your Mental Hygiene by doing and remembering the following:
  • Be mindful of all the actions of your body, speech and mind. Don’t do, say or think negatively - keep a positive attitude.
  • Keep an attitude of gratitude!
  • Always remember impermanence - everything changes, nothing is permanent - this too shall pass!
  • Educate yourself with the latest information from experts such as the CDC and World Health Organization but don’t become obsessed with all the bad news - take an occasional news break … read a book, listen to music, meditate, take a walk in nature.
  • Be mindful of your lifestyle - practice moderation in all things.
  • Mindful breathing - take a few minutes break each day and just focus on your breath.
  • Turn hardships and challenges into opportunities to learn and grow. Adversity is our greatest teacher!
  • Practice kindness and compassion with yourself and with all beings!

Promote Healing by Rejuvenating & Boosting your Immune system:
  • Get adequate rest, at least of 8 hours of sleep per night
  • Eat a nutritious and balanced diet
  • Avoid raw foods including meat and vegetables (steam, sautee, or bake your vegetables)
  • Drink boiled water after it has cooled down or lukewarm water - avoid ice water
  • Get some exercise - you don’t need to go to the gym, get outside and talk a walk or go for a run, go for a bike ride
  • Go outside and into the sunshine and fresh air but maintain social distancing of 6 feet away from other people
  • Alleviate stress with meditation and simple breathing exercises
