Wellness Consultation (Tele-health)

Wellness Consultation
Living in the contemporary world, we use many devices that make our life much easier than ever before. However, modern life has also brought us deep physical and mental exhaustion. We have high demands and expectations. We often suffer from stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, loneliness and more - all due to lack of time for relaxation. With these daily pressures, our minds may be overstimulated and overwhelmed. Our bodies may be so exhausted that we find it difficult to calm down and relax.

To cope with these conditions, many people seek out treatment by mental health professionals and/or medications for depression and anxiety. Fortunately, there are many integrative medical psychiatrists starting to look for new methods or modalities to solve these problems without medication and the side effect of such medications. These doctors advocate natural healing techniques such as psychological therapy, training in mindful breathing techniques, yoga practice, talk therapy, dance therapy, music therapy, as well as movement therapy.

At Kunde, we offer wellness consultation based on each individual. We will recommend the best foods and nutrition for your particular constitution (body nature) based on the five elements (earth, fire, water, air, and space), gender, age group, 6 tastes and 8 functions of food and plants in Tibetan Medicine theory. Even within the same family, you may need a diet that’s different from the rest of your family so each plan is personalized for your constitution and based on an assessment of your needs. In addition, we offer a variety of mind and body health and wellness healing methods, including one-to-one meditation, breathing techniques, movement therapies, mindful sleep guidance, and other external therapies if it’s needed.

In Tibetan, “Kunde” means “may all beings be healthy, wealthy and happy.” Dedicated to the mission of benefiting all people with affordable, integrative health services, Kunde offers a variety of traditional Tibetan and Asian medical modalities. Offices are located in Daly City and Berkeley.
