Welcome to the Summer Tibetan Herbal Picking Camp! This Camp is led by dr. Yangdron Kalzang and renowned Tibetan doctor Namgyal Qusar and his wife dr. Kalchoe Qusar. During this camp, we will explore the world of Tibetan Herbal Medicine and we will focus on herb identification.
Herb Picking
We will go on a herb-picking excursion to Manali (North India) mountain where the herbs grow naturally, and we will learn how to properly pick them. We will also learn about the different tools used in herb picking.
The hill station of Dharamsala (or Dharamshala), established by the British in the mid-19th century, is today the home of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Government-in-Exile.
