This amazing Lapis mala is handmade in California by a Tibetan Buddhist monk, with 6mm or 8mm lapis beads.

It is believed to enhance memory. It is a stone of friendship and brings harmony to relationships. It encourages self-awareness and provides one with the qualities of honesty, compassion and morality. It is the symbol of the starry night.
How to Use the Mala?
Traditionally, malas are used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a deity. In Tibetan Buddhism, malas, or garlands of prayer beads, come as a string of 108 beads (plus one for the “guru bead”, around which the other 108 beads turn like the planets around the sun).
